Paul Smith loves cycling and we love his collaborative cycling projects. The latest looks to be a custom red saddle with blue rails as developed by Japan’s Kashimax. A nice change of pace for someone looking to accent their 2-wheeler.

Work Sessions is our new series of videos where we will portrait interesting and passionate people about their work and what they love to do. The first interview we did is with Andy Ellis from Fixed Gear London.

Fixed Gear London are a group of riders who have a passion for the bikes they ride and the way they ride them.

Andy Ellis is one of the original founders of the Fixed Gear London collective and is also the editor of Fixed Magazine.

When Andy isn't riding the streets of London, taking photographs or writing and editing Fixed magazine, you can find him designing and developing interesting new products.

We have talked to him about how it all started, what he is doing and what his passion is. Check out the video.

Later this month the first annual Asia Fixed Gear Championships will be held in Shenzen, China. It will be a two day event covering various trick competition as well as alley cat and other road events. One of the prizes for the 2011 event is this one-of Kinfolk fixed gear bicycle frame. The quality of finish is impeccable as expected and it is painted in gunmetal gray with orange decals. Gold Kinfolk head badge contrasts the silver chrome lugs and the chain stay. Unfortunately this frame will not be available for purchase and it can only be obtained by entering the AFGC 2011 competition.
